New Web-Based Monitoring and Tracking Platform

SENTINELDNA™ At The Core of What We Do

IRVINE, CA. (April 10, 2017) — Sentinel Offender Services LLC, one of the nation’s leading providers of offender management programs and electronic monitoring services, is pleased to announce the launch of SentinelDNA™, the company’s latest enhancement of their state-of-the-art, web-based monitoring and tracking software application. DNA allows law enforcement and corrections agencies to conduct all of their monitoring functions in real-time. After the successful pilot release of SentinelDNA to a select group of its domestic and international customers, Sentinel has accelerated the migration of the remainder of its customers to the platform with a target completion date set for June 30, 2017.

SentinelDNA offers an easy to use, intuitive user interface that makes the monitoring of individuals, groups or an officer’s entire caseload a simple and straightforward process. In addition, DNA offers the flexibility for users to create and adjust participant compliance schedules in real-time and, at the same time, create complex notification procedures for each individual participant or specific groups. What’s more, the platform fully integrates with all Sentinel Radio Frequency (RF), Breath Alcohol and GPS tracking equipment.

DNA includes a powerful dashboard feature that provides an at-a-glance overview that can be filtered to meet the user’s needs. Smartphone and tablet accessible, SentinelDNA provides convenient, view anywhere access and provides users with the freedom to monitor program participants at any time. “The real power of this remarkable platform,” said Sentinel Divisional President and COO Darryl Martin, “is its ability to provide officers with an easy to read, comprehensive view of their entire caseload with a single click of the mouse. Not only is this convenient, but it saves valuable time for supervising officers due to its intuitive navigation interface and powerful tools.”

Customizable features and benefits were also added that are not found in other monitoring solutions available in the market. Sentinel has included comprehensive inventory management functionality that allows customers to order needed equipment or consumables and the ability to generate return merchandise authorizations (RMAs)—both conveniently from within the DNA platform. Further, Sentinel leveraged its 20 plus years of field management experience to create an optional robust case management module that allows supervising officers to document participant contact, produce status reports and notices, and efficiently manage the collection of program fees.

Lastly, SentinelDNA is chocked full of powerful data analytic tools to assist officers in their efforts to more efficiently and effectively monitor individuals or groups. Sentinel’s proprietary software allows users to analyze a participant’s daily routine and quickly identify deviations that may indicate a compliance violation. In addition, DNA uses its proprietary mapping and data analytics capabilities to correlate crime and incident report data collected from local law enforcement agencies with the tracking data of participants.
